GENERAL INFORMATION
The Logic in Databases workshop, LID 2009, is a forum for bringing
together researchers and practitioners in academia and industry from around
the world who are focusing
on all logical aspects of data management.
The present LID workshop series started with
LID'08
in Rome as the confluence of
three successful events series which had a strong overlap in interests.
- LID'96,
an international workshop on Logic in Databases,
from which LID 2008 and 2009 has derived its name
- LAAIC'05
and LAAIC'06,
international workshops on Logical Aspects and
Applications of Integrity Constraints
- IIDB'06, an international workshop on Inconsistency
and Incompleteness in Databases
- LID'08,
an international workshop on Logic in Databases
The workshop has an international program committee that will review all submissions;
proceedings are informal, being published electronically and as a technical
report.
LID 2009 takes place 29 October 2009 at
Roskilde University
close to Copenhagen, Denmark, and less than one hour from
Copenhagen Airport.
LID 2009 is co-located with FQAS 2009, Eighth International Conference
on Flexible Query Answering Systems, which takes place the days before LID,
26-28 October 2009.
LID 2009 is hosted by the
PLIS research group for Programming, Logic and Intelligent Systems.
