REGISTRATION AND ACCOMODATION
Students, including PhD students, are free of charge, while
participation fee for others will be approx 100 EUR for early registration
(and a little addition for late registration).
Lunch, coffee etc. is includes.

Participants must register for the workshop; please register before October 15, 2009.

The registration and payment page will stay open for late registration (CLOSED).
- Students up to and including PhD students: Registration is free;
send and email with your details to
LID 2009 (link inactive),
including a signed statement from you supervisor (please scan it and attach to the mail)
- All other participants: Registration fee is 750 DKK; please go to
the online registration and payment page (CLOSED)
Liability and Insurance:
The Conference Secretariat will not assume any responsibility whatsoever
for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
Participants are responsible to arrange for their personal travel
and health insurance.
You need to arrange your own accomodation.
Use your favourite online reservation service, or follow
our suggestions.
- Hotel Prindsen,
a hotel in the centre of Roskilde which has a long tradition and special atmosphere;
Hans Christian
Andersen is said to have visited the hotel several times.
- CAB INN City in Copenhagen
close to Central Station and with easy access to Roskilde University
(25 min's by train).
NB: CABINN has several hotels; make sure to reserve at the "City" location.
- Hotel Scandic Roskilde,
modern hotel close the Roskilde station and city centre.
- Roskilde Youth Hostel,
only a few km's away from the conference and close to the Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde City Centre.
NEED A VISA?
If you need a visa for participating
in LID 2009, or in doubt whether you need one, you should contact the nearest
Danish embassy or general consulate at the earliest
possible time.

Notice that processing time for
visa applications can range from
about two weeks and to 1-2 months in the worst case.
Supporting letters
can only be issued upon request from authors of accepted papers.
Other requests will likely not be answered.
